Smart Agriculture Is Taking Off In Fruit, Vegetable And Broad Acre
Our equipment provides radically new perspectives on the health of crops. We can detect stress in a crop and manage these issues immediately. We can identify and deliver precise applications of nutrient inputs and disease preventative actions based on the actual field conditions today.
Precise mapping methods identify health of crops and delivers early warning of crop stress and crop health issues.
The imagery works best if it commences right after germination. We recently had an example where there was chemical burn right from the beginning. Identified early, we were able to re-seed and subsequently gained 50 per cent of crop back again.
Our technology allows the use of drones and software to identify, track and muster livestock. Recently we provided assistance tracking and mustering livestock. We conducted a flight at 50 kph and identified live stock, moving vehicles and stationary kangaroos.
In the above image,
- Red mark identifies slow moving livestock,
- Green mark fast moving vehicle,
- Blue mark Kangaroos in tree line.
We also provide a livestock management system which tracks and identifies livestock, including whole of life data such as vet and health notes, breeding and other important information.
Farm and Water Management
Drones are useful to conduct asset inspections and provide the best allocation of precious resources. Fence lines, power lines and water management can be GPS referenced, meaning precise asset inspection can occur at specified periods (monthly, annually) so exact data from identical locations can be compared over a period.
